Mobility & Recovery – Hip Opener with Rotational Stretch

Here’s how:

  1. Step into a half-lunge position, right leg forward, left knee on the floor.
  2. Place both hands on the ground – inside your front foot.
  3. Gently press your hips forward and downward – feel the stretch in your hip and thigh.
  4. Now, rotate your right arm upward (chest opens), and follow your hand with your gaze.
  5. Hold for 5 deep breaths – then switch sides.
    → 3 reps per side.

What to observe:

  • How mobile is your hip after prolonged sitting or training?
  • Is the rotation easy, or do you tilt to the side?
  • How deep can you go into the position without losing tension?
